Library Media Center

The Borchard Library Media Center provides a technology-based collaborative learning environment as well as quiet spaces to study.

The Borchard Library Media Center has a focused collection of resources that have been carefully selected to enhance instruction and support the curricular needs of the school. The collection includes periodicals, newspapers, print books, e-books and online multi-media databases. Digital resources are available 24-7 through the school's Learning Portal or by using the links below.

The library offers a warm, welcoming environment for students to study both collaboratively and independently including group study rooms and stations, monitors allowing students to connect their tablets to video monitors to easily share information, charging stations, access to desktop computers and printers as well as a Tech Service Center providing support as part of the One-to-One Tablet PC Program. Lounge furniture provides a relaxing learning environment while quiet study rooms encourage uninterrupted study time.

How can I renew an item that I have checked out?

In person, by email, or by phone at libraryhelp@smhs.org or (949) 766-6070.

Do you accept donations?

Yes, we accept donations of new and used books. Items which meet the library selection policy will be added to the collection. Items that cannot be used at Borchard Library may be shipped to Better World Books or donated to the Orange County Public Libraries. Donations can be books of any reading level in any world language.

Tech Support Center

The Tech Support Center is located in the Borchard Library and Media Center. Certified technicians aim to provide quick and effective support. Students can drop-by at anytime for assistance.
