Congratulations to the girls’ athletic program for winning their second straight Commissioner’s Cup and their third in the last four years. Winners of the CIF-Southern Section Commissioner’s Cup are determined by a point system that provides 5 points for a CIF Divisional Championship, 3 points for a runner-up finish, 2 points for advancing to the semifinal round or a third place team finish and one point for a fourth place finish. The Eagles garnered 15.5 points courtesy of CIF Championships in volleyball, swimming and diving, as well as track and field. Swimming and diving clinched their fourth straight CIF title, with girls' track and field claiming their third consecutive CIF title. The Lady Eagles beat out Sierra Canyon of Chatsworth (13) and Mater Dei (12).
The boy’s athletic program was won the CIF Southern Section Commissioners Cup three times (1995-1996, 1996-1997, 1997-1998) and the girls have won it six times (1998-1999, 1999-2000, 2002-2003, 2013-2014, 2015-2016, 2016-2017).
