Letter from Mr. Dunne, SMCHS Principal, dd. 12/15/2009

Mike Jacot resigns as Head Coach

Dear SMCHS Football Parents:

This message is to update you on the SMCHS football situation.  Coach Mike Jacot has resigned as the head varsity football coach.  He met with the players to share this information with them.

While I have only had the opportunity to work with Coach Jacot for the past three seasons, I have always been impressed by his dedication to Eagle football and the young men who play the game.  While he has great knowledge about how the game of football is played, what has impressed me the most about his leadership is that it is based on high ethical and moral standards which support our faith-based community of learners and our charism of Caritas Christi.  A man of character, Coach Jacot has had a positive influence on so many young men during his time with SMCHS football and his influence will continue well into the future.

I am very pleased to announce that he has accepted a new challenge and responsibility to be the school's first coordinator of strength and conditioning, overseeing our new weight training facility where he will interact with all SMCHS athletes.

As principal, I thank him for his service and look forward to the exciting new endeavor that he will be undertaking on behalf of the young men and women of SMCHS.  May the blessings of Our Lord be with him now and always.

Caritas Christi,

Raymond R. Dunne
