Santa Margarita Catholic High School

School Profile and Accreditations

Santa Margarita Catholic High School is accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA) and co-accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). In November of 2011, the WCEA/WASC  visiting team, comprised of teachers, principals, and superintendents, visited Santa Margarita to affirm the excellence in education we provide. SMCHS received a full six-year term of accreditation, the highest term possible. We thank the many teachers, parents, staff and students who helped us achieve this designation. At the midpoint of the six years, the school is required to submit a written update to all shareholders. Compiled by the school's Accreditation Leadership Team, this midterm report can be found below.

SMCHS is also certified as an International Baccalaureate World School (IB), offering both the full diploma and certificate programs, and is a proud member of the College Board.
