Book Returns for 9th, 10th and 11th Graders

Final Exams end on Friday, June 13th. Please return your books on the day of your last exam or before. You may return your books before the last day of school if you are finished with them. You must return all of your books at one time. The absolute last day to return your books is the last day of school, Friday, June 13th no later than 4:00 p.m.

Please note that in the past, we have allowed an extra day to return your books for credit. However, this year, we will not do this. In order to receive credit for your books, they must be turned in by the last day of school. NO LATE RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED & THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.

RETURN PROCEDURES:
  1. Please pick up a book receipt in the Eagle’s Nest
  2. Put your name on the receipt and list all books being returned. PLEASE DO NOT LIST PRICES ON THE BOOK RECEIPT.
  3. Remove all papers from books.
  4. Put all books and receipt in a paper bag. Books will not be accepted in any type of bag other than paper! Bring books to the Bookstore. Please be aware that only one copy of each textbook will be accepted for credit unless permission has been given you by the Eagle’s Nest.
  5. RETURN BOTH PARTS OF THE BOOK RECEIPT. DO NOT TEAR APART!
  6. NO CREDIT will be given for books in poor condition, any type of water damage, torn or missing pages, broken bindings, missing covers, answers or translations or writing inside that does not pertain to the subject matter. If there is any type of inappropriate writing in your books, you will be given absolutely NO CREDIT!
  7. Credit slips will be issued in August when you pick up your 2008/2009 class schedule and purchase your books.
  8. REMEMBER – We do not supply bags for book returns. No books will be taken back without a paper bag.
  9. IMPORTANT: If you are remediating a class in summer school, please keep that book only and return it on your last day of summer school. The only book that you can return late is the book that you kept because you had to attend summer school.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: The Eagle’s Nest will have a new time schedule for book sales this year. The hours for SENIORS, SOPHOMORES & FRESHMEN to purchase their books on their assigned date will be 7:30-11:30 AM and 1:00-5:00 PM. The hours for Juniors will be 7:30-11:30 AM and 1:00-3:00 PM. It is very important that you make your purchases only at your appointed time so that we can serve everyone in the most efficient manner. USED BOOKS WILL BE APPORTIONED EQUALLY EACH SALE DAY! This will ensure everyone having equal opportunity to buy used books if they choose. If you have a summer assignment, you may purchase “that book” at any time. If you will be on vacation, etc. during your allotted day, you may have a friend or such pick up your schedule in the Bookstore and purchase books for you. If you choose to purchase books BEFORE your scheduled time, you must purchase all new books. NO STUDENT may purchase books BEFORE August 14, 2008! Thank you in advance for your adherence to the above schedule.
