Investing in your child's future
Did you know that the cost of tuition alone does not cover the expenses at SMCHS? To help us continue to offer a state-of-the-art education in a safe and nurturing environment, we encourage every family to give $1,000 to the Parent Pledge Program each year. The Parent Pledge Program is the only fund on campus that goes toward the school as a whole. Parent Pledge Program funds benefit each and every student on the SMCHS campus. Each year, the School conducts an annual fund campaign to raise funds for current operations.

We want all of our donors to realize that their contributions to any school program will be recognized. You can allocate your total donation among a number of programs on campus and receive recognition for the total amount of your contribution to the school. Every gift made to Santa Margarita Catholic High School will be recognized in your lifetime giving history whether it is designated for the Parent Pledge Program, Valentasia, or a specific Booster Club. You may claim a tax deduction for the amount of your gift as allowed by law.

Every gift made to SMCHS is tax-deductible. As you consider your year-end tax planning, we hope you will consider SMCHS. Your year-end gift can significantly reduce your income taxes, while providing meaningful support for us. No matter what your income, if you itemize, you can almost always lower your income taxes through charitable giving. The amount of savings will depend on your tax bracket.
