What is Golf Marathon?

Welcome to the 7th Annual Eagle Classic Golf Marathon. This fundraising event supports the dedicated faculty and staff of Santa Margarita Catholic High School as well as the students as we complete a state-of-the-art weight room in the new Eagle Athletic Center - opening April 2010.
We are looking for golfers to participate in the Golf Marathon by playing at least 100 holes. The record for this event is an incredible 409 holes in one day! Each golfer who participates will be asked to solicit sponsorships from business associates, golfing buddies, family and friends. The more sponsorships you obtain the more chances you have to win big.
Prizes include:
- A chance to win a 2010 Lexus IS 250 Convertible
- Callaway “Big Bertha” 454 Titanium Drivers
- Odyssey Tri-Ball SRT Putters
- A set of Callaway “Big Bertha” graphite shafts
- Hundreds of dollars in gift certifactes!
Contests include:
- Longest Drive
- Closest to the pin
- Putting
- 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place team prizes
Tentative Schedule for the day:
8:00 am Continental Breakfast,Putting green open to complete 82 holes, Driving range open to start completing 100 tee shots
9:00 am Putting & Driving completed
Putting contest on the Putting Green
10:00 am Hole-in-One & Closest to the Pin contest starts on the driving range
11:00 am 18 Hole Golf Scramble
3:00-4:00 pm Cocktails, guest speaker, awards presentation and photos
