Distribution Amount: An amount up to $5000 to be distributed between four students
Distribution Method: Award will be applied according to your tuition payment schedule

History:
An endowed scholarship was established in memory of Christopher Cvengros'98, a SMCHS student who entered eternal life in 1996 in his junior year during a free diving accident. Christopher had a deep love of the ocean. Up to four current SMCHS students will be selected this year, with the total award being distributed between the selected students.
Criteria/Requirements:
The Christopher Cvengros family has established the following scholarship criteria:
- Demonstrate financial need. – FACTS Application Required
- Junior or senior student, male or female.
- Have a strong desire to remain at SMCHS.
- Love of the ocean is a preferred quality, but not necessary.
- Completion of the Christopher Cvengros application form.
- The scholarship recipient will write an acknowledgement letter to the donor with a copy to SMCHS Advancement Department.
