Scholarship Name: EAGLE ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP
Type of Scholarship: College Tuition Scholarship
Distribution Amount: A total of $1000 each for two graduating seniors
Distribution Method: The scholarship money will be directly paid in the form of a tuition/fee payment to the recipient's college of choice. No direct cash award will be given to the recipient. Award will be distributed at Senior Awards Night.

History:
This scholarship is a scholarship of the “heart” in many ways. The student should be one whom will be an ambassador for SMCHS after they have graduated. One who is PROUD of their years here at SMCHS and will have a smile on their face when they talk about their high school experiences. The winner should be a student that will participate in alumni activities, possibly even serve on the Alumni committee to choose the scholarship winner in the future. Only one of the scholarships will be weighted heavily by financial need.
Criteria/Requirements:
The Alumni Department has established the following scholarship criteria:
- Demonstrate financial need. (Optional)
- Graduating senior, male or female.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Completion of the Eagle Alumni application form.
- The scholarship recipient will write an acknowledgement letter to the Alumni Office.
