Déjà vu…it was scoreboard picture time again for this growing rivalry between J Serra and Santa Margarita and unfortunately this time it was the home team Lions posing in front of the scoreboard. The 5th seeded Lions bounced the 11th seeded Lady Eagles from the first round of the US Lacrosse Championship Tourney with a convincing 21-13 victory.

Santa Margarita Completes Season Sweep Of Mater Dei
The Lady Eagles finished off the regular season as well as Trinity League play with a convincing 19-10 victory over the Mater Dei Monarchs on Saturday morning. The victory left Santa Margarita in sole possession of second place in the Trinity League and just one bad half short (J Serra Game 1) from winning their first Trinity League title.

Lady Eagles Notch Huge Trinity League Win Over 6th Ranked J Serra
Santa Margarita had revenge on its mind while making the short trek down the 5 Freeway to the Junipero Serra exit on Friday. On April 15th the Lady Eagles could not hold onto to an early lead and fell to Trinity League rival J Serra. The girls were distraught as they watched J Serra take a candid team photo under the Santa Margarita scoreboard still displaying the J Serra victory.
