SUCCESS STORIES

Randall Swain
Class of 2014

Oneida and Randall Swain wanted nothing more than to send their son to Catholic high school. Both parents attended Catholic school and wanted the same opportunities for their children. However, financially a Santa Margarita education seemed out of reach. That changed when the Swain family was offered financial assistance allowing their son to attend SMCHS.

At Santa Margarita, Randall excels in his honors courses, plays football and takes classical guitar. At 3 years-old, Randall's parents already knew he had a gift as their son banged away tunes feeling quite comfortable on his toy piano. Since the second grade, Randall has been composing music including classical and hip hop pieces. The avid music lover hopes to one day write music for movies.

"It is because of the generous donors that I am able to receive this wonderful education. Santa Margarita is everything I thought it would be and more. In just a few months of my classical guitar class, I can play things I never would have dreamed possible. I feel so blessed to be at this school. Thank you. "
