Volunteer Opportunities

We hope that all of our parents and SMCHS friends will become involved in some way with the many volunteer opportunities available.
If you like to work on social events, our main social event and fundraiser of the year is Valentasia. Valentasia 2011 will take place on Saturday, February 12, 2011. If you would like to join the planning committee or volunteer to help the night of the event, please click here to e-mail the Advancement Office.
Around the campus, volunteers are active in the Front Office (at the receptionist desk), Counseling Office, the Activities Office, the Advancement Office, the Library, and the Nurses Office. Another important volunteer position is our Docents. Docents are our school ambassadors, providing campus tours for prospective families.
Volunteers also are needed to chaperone retreats. If you are interested, but can’t be away from family or work for too long, please consider splitting the time away with another volunteer and coming for a day and a half.
We encourage you to come share your faith by giving a talk or just attend and enjoy the time away with our teens! The retreat schedule is listed below. We leave at 3 p.m. and return at 3 p.m.
Sophomore retreats: Sept. 29 – Oct. 1 2010 and March 1-3 2011
