Congratulations to Santa Margarita’s Class of 2025!

Congratulations to Santa Margarita’s Class of 2025!

Santa Margarita Catholic High School’s Class of 2025 was celebrated at the Commencement Ceremony at the Honda Center on Friday, May 30. The ceremony honored the achievements of 418 graduating seniors who earned 2,396 college acceptances to 243 different institutions. Students from the class will be heading to 167 different colleges across 37 states. The class earned a 100% college acceptance rate and included 75 collegiate student-athletes.

The ceremony was presided over by The Most Reverend Kevin W. Vann, Bishop Emeritus of Orange. Erin Barisano, Ed.D., Superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Orange, Andrew Sulick ’91, SMCHS President and Cheri Wood, SMCHS Principal, were among the esteemed administrators and faculty in attendance.

Valedictorian Evelyn Weng ’25 delivered the engaging valedictory address.

Following the quintessential tassel turning and singing of the Alma Mater, the graduates tossed their caps amid a flurry of blue and gold streamers and confetti. The graduates are now part of an impressive network of nearly 13,000 SMCHS alumni.

Congratulations and best wishes to the Class of 2025. May the graduates always soar like Eagles.
