Ryan Pfeiffer ’27 Earns Eagle Scout Rank

Congratulations to Santa Margarita Catholic High School Ryan Pfeiffer ’27 on earning the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. Pfeiffer, a member of Troop 774 in Laguna Hills, achieved scouting’s highest honor through years of dedication.

For his Eagle Scout project, Pfeiffer designed and created ground-piercing devices for the El Toro Memorial Cemetery to assist volunteers in placing flags on Veterans’ graves when the soil is firm. The project supports the tradition of honoring veterans on Memorial Day and Veterans Day, a service activity Pfeiffer has participated in since he was a Tiger Scout.

“Placing flags on the graves of Veterans ahead of Memorial Day and Veterans Day is an activity I have been doing since I was a Tiger Scout,” Pfeiffer said.
He dedicated more than 70 hours to completing the project.

Pfeiffer's favorite scouting memories were a trek at the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, where he and other scouts completed a 50-mile point-to-point hike and climbed the iconic Tooth of Time.

Pfeiffer also said he enjoyed spending multiple summers on Catalina Island through scouting.

SM proudly recognizes Pfeiffer for his Eagle Scout achievement and for the servant leadership he has demonstrated.
