Choir Embraces Jubilee Year in Hope of Compassion Concert

Santa Margarita's Hope of Compassion Spring Vocal Music Concert was performed at the awe-inspiring Christ Cathedral to celebrate the Jubilee Year, with the "Pilgrims of Hope" theme. The Church celebrates a Jubilee Year every 25 years. 

A Jubilee Year is a year set aside to encourage the faithful to renew a focus on spiritual life. At SM, the Year of Compassion aligns beautifully with the Jubilee Year of 2025, Pilgrims of Hope, a time for compassion and renewal.

Both themes invite us to embark on a spiritual pilgrimage, not just in the sense of physical travel but in our daily actions of kindness and mercy toward others.

"Welcome to our concert of word and song, offering poetry of compassionate possibilities," said Chris Winn, Choir Teacher and director of the Choir.
