Successful Grandparents and Special Friends Day
Grandparents and Special Friends Day was a huge success, with 275 doting visitors on the Santa Margarita campus. Grandparents traveled far and wide to spend time with their grandchildren. The farthest anyone traveled was from the East Coast, and 16 was the clear winner for the most grandchildren. One proud grandmother said she has attended every Grandparents Day since her senior granddaughter was in pre-kindergarten.
Visitors were treated to a private campus tour by their SM student, followed by Mass in the Moiso Family Pavilion. After students returned to class, grandparents enjoyed brunch catered by Hanna’s Restaurant and Bar.
