Talon Theatre Earns 20 Cappies Nominations

Talon Theatre earned a total of 20 Cappies nominations for two of this season’s productions. The Cappies (Critics and Awards Program for High School Theatre) is a national student-driven organization that celebrates and honors excellence in high school theatre. Student critics from participating schools attend productions throughout the year, write reviews, and nominate outstanding performances and technical achievements for awards. The program encourages constructive critique, fosters connections among schools, and highlights the power of student voice in the arts. 

Nominations came from Hadestown: Teen Edition and The Outsiders, both of which received exceptionally high ratings from Cappies student critics. Winners will be announced at the OC Cappies Gala on May 17. We could not be prouder of our Talon Theatre students!
