New AD Willie Kuhl
Primarily serving as Associate Head Baseball Coach, Varsity Pitching Coach, and IB Business Management teacher at SMCHS for the past eight years, Kuhl has played an integral role in the success and continued growth of the school’s athletic programs. His leadership helped guide the Eagles Baseball program to the 2019 CIF Division 2 Championship, the 2023 Trinity League Championship, and the 2023 CIF Southern California Regional Division 1 Championship.
As Athletic Director, Kuhl will provide overall leadership, development, coordination, and supervision of Santa Margarita Catholic High School’s CIF interscholastic athletic programs. The role encompasses strategic planning, policy development, athletic operations, staff leadership, and oversight of compliance with SMCHS, Trinity League, and CIF rules and regulations. He will also help foster a culture centered on faith, sportsmanship, healthy competition, and the holistic development of student-athletes.
