Hockey Rolls Out New Club Team

Santa Margarita’s roller hockey team returned to campus this season after a four-year hiatus. In the mid-2000s the team had three or more teams. The team is comprised of mostly SM ice hockey players who want to continue to play hockey after their ice season. It is a co-ed club team in the Roller Hockey Alliance (RHA) league. The team played games on Sunday nights at Irvine Inline and finished the season 5-6-1, but won the playoffs and the D2 Championship.

“Roller hockey is a great sport to work on players' skills and to have fun in their off-season. It was a great season, and we were happy to finish winning the championship,” said Brenten Kelly '15, Roller Hockey Coach, Broadcast Instructor.
