Course Requests for 2025-2026

Students, please review the following links before submitting your course request form.

Please fill out your grade level course requests in Aeries for 9th graders or corresponding grade level Microsoft Form for 10th and 11th grade students (scroll down for links). Course Requests are due by Monday, January 27th, 2025 for current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students. |
Step #3: |
Schedule a meeting with your School Counselor to review course requests, ask questions, and discuss options. To make an appointment, contact your School Counselor by email or Teams chat. Please submit your course requests before meeting with your School Counselor. All scheduling meetings must take place by Friday, March 14th. |

Initial course requests DUE by submitting the grade level form
Jan. 28 - March 14
Meet with your School Counselor to review your course requests, ask questions or discuss options.
May 16
Course requests for the 2025-2026 school year are FINAL

CHANGING CLASSES:
SMCHS does not have an open add/drop period. The only acceptable changes to a student’s schedule will be those initiated by the teacher, counselor or administrator.
CHANGING TEACHERS:
All students are assigned to teachers and periods by the computer. The computer balances all class sizes and assigns teachers to students in a random manner. To maintain proper class balance and fairness to all, requests for schedule changes will not be made to accommodate a teacher of their choice.
