Scholastic Art and Writing Awards 2021
Three Santa Margarita Catholic School students have received awards through the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, the nation’s longest-running, prestigious recognition program for creative teenagers. Teens in grades 7–12 can apply in 28 categories of art and writing. All art and writing submissions are judged blindly based on originality, technical skills and emergence of personal vision or voice. “The mission of the Scholastic Art and Writers Awards has always been to recognize creative potential and to give students a platform to explore their creativity,” Chris Wisniewski, Executive Director of the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers.
