Makeup Date: Saturday, February 8, 2020
Santa Margarita Catholic High School offers the Freshman High School Placement Test (HSPT) on the dates listed above. All 8th grade students that have an application on file at SMCHS are automatically registered for the exam. If you have not yet submitted an application to the school, you may begin by clicking here. The $60 application fee is also required to be submitted prior to taking the placement test. To review your application status, click here. We will accept payment by check or cash on the morning of the test.
Check-In: 7:30 am - 7:45 am in the front of the school at the Antonio Parkway entrance
Test Time: 8:00 am – 12:30 pm
A morning snack will be provided, but students should make sure to have a good breakfast. If there are any food restrictions, students are welcome to bring their own snack.
We will provide everything needed for this exam, including pencils, so students do not need to bring anything. Calculators are NOT allowed.
This is the same test that other Orange County Catholic schools administer, so students only need to test one time at one location, as we do share test scores among the other schools. If your student took the test at another location, or if you would like us to send your test scores to another school, please email Rhonda Ury at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have any questions, please call our Admissions Department at 949-766-6076.
