INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Santa Margarita Catholic High School welcomes applications from students all over the world. The SMCHS International student program is rich with culture and diversity currently representing 14 different countries. International students make up approximately 10 percent of our entire student population. We value the contributions from our international student perspectives and global experiences that enrich our campus and learning environment.  

SMCHS offers international students a coeducational, college-preparatory education developing students who are people of faith, skilled lifelong learners, healthy individual and involved citizens of the world. Now home to more than 1,600 students each year, Santa Margarita boasts a dedicated faculty and staff, unmatched academic programs, faith-filled activities and competitive athletics.

Our school’s beautiful 42-acre campus is nestled against the picturesque Saddleback Valley Mountains in the city of Rancho Santa Margarita, California. Located in one of the most desirable areas of Southern California, with beautiful weather, outdoor recreation, local shopping, entertainment, access to local beaches or day trips to explore the nearby mountains, Rancho Santa Margarita is the perfect place to live and study.
