Talon Theatre productions are cast through open auditions. In addition to the comprehensive training available to students, Talon Theatre produces two main stage productions annually. Students also perform in the annual Performing Arts Department Christmas Program, showcases, workshop productions, original ensemble pieces and student directed works throughout the year.
If you are new to Talon Theatre and would like to receive the most updated and current information please email Mrs. Barth for her to add you to the TALON THEATRE TEAM. Mrs. Barth adds information, files, flyers and application packets to this TEAM daily.
DIVE DAY PRESENTATION
DIVERSITY, INCLUSION, VISION AND EQUITY
Voices of Justice
To live Caritas Christi is to be a person of Justice who respects and advocates for the dignity of ALL PEOPLE and CREATION.
Using Augusto Boal’s interactive technique of Forum Theatre, IB Theatre students will devise a Forum Theatre Workshop focused on issues of justice, equity and inclusion. This project will be workshopped during IB Theatre class.
RANDOM ACTS THEATRE CLASS SHOWCASES
While the lights have dimmed on stages across the world, Talon Theatre students enrolled in Talon Theatre classes will continue to practice and perform their craft for audiences in a series of virtual class showcases of scenes, monologues, songs and original projects throughout the year from
IB Theatre, Advanced Theatre Honors and Theatre One classes!
If permitted on campus, rehearsals will be designed to accommodate the fewest number of students required for rehearsal at one time according to CDC, Diocesan and EdTA Guidelines observing safety and social distancing. Otherwise, rehearsals will be conducted virtually and performances may be live streamed, pre-recorded for on- demand virtual viewing or performed without a live audience in the dome or outdoors.
