AP DRAWING

This yearlong course is designed to help the highly motivated student to create a serious portfolio of individual work that will be submitted for review to the College Board for AP Credit and possible college credit. Students will maintain a wide scope of mediums and subject matter to work with and develop a “Sustained Investigation” topic. The exploration should be artistically motivating and should be the culmination of a student’s search for visual creativity as well as an understanding and keeping in mind the grading criteria of the College Board. This course is designed for the self-driven and independent student who is actively pursuing growth in their Art skills or wishes to concentrate in Art during college and wants to possibly look at Art as a profession and or to create social change through their art.

Length of Course: Year
