Homecoming Spirit Week:
Monday 10/2: Full School Holiday
Tuesday 10/3 Pink Out (non-uniform dress day) - Dress up in your best pink attire to raise awareness for all women who battle breast cancer. All pink shirts, sweatshirts, pants, sweatpants, and accessories are acceptable. All attire must be visible and school-appropriate. 50% of a student's attire must be pink. If not in spirit dress, you must be in school uniform. Failure to comply with the guidelines may result in a dress code. No hats, tank tops, spaghetti straps or midriffs permitted, all shorts/pants must have at least a 6" inseam with closed-toe shoes.
Wednesday 10/4 Go Green Day (non-uniform dress day) - Wear your best green attire in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. All green shirts, sweatshirts, pants, sweatpants, and accessories are acceptable. All attire must be visible and school-appropriate. 50% of a student's attire must be green. If not in spirit dress, you must be in school uniform. Failure to comply with the guidelines may result in a dress code. No hats, tank tops, spaghetti straps or midriffs permitted, all shorts/pants must have at least a 6" inseam with closed-toe shoes.
Thursday 10/5 Sports Day (non-uniform dress day) - Come dressed in your best sports attire to help support our fall sports teams at the rally!! This includes jerseys, sports t-shirts, and any athletic gear. All attire must be visible and school-appropriate. If not in spirit dress, you must be in school uniform. Failure to comply with the guidelines may result in a dress code. No hats, tank tops, spaghetti straps or midriffs permitted, all shorts/pants must have at least a 6" inseam with closed-toe shoes.
Friday 10/6 Blue and Gold (non-uniform dress day) - Dress up in your best school colors to get hype for our homecoming football game!! All blue and gold shirts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, and accessories are acceptable. All attire must be visible and school-appropriate. 50% of a student's attire must be Blue/Gold/School Spirit attire. If not in spirit dress, you must be in school uniform. Failure to comply with the guidelines may result in a dress code. No hats, tank tops, spaghetti straps or midriffs permitted, all shorts/pants must have at least a 6" inseam with closed-toe shoes.
School-appropriate attire is defined within the Parent/Student Handbook. Participation in spirit week dress is optional, but encouraged for all TEAM members and students! Students who choose not to participate in spirit dress must wear their SMCHS uniform.
