Calling all SMCHS dads! We are forming the SM Dads' Club.
Inaugural Club Meeting: Wednesday, October 27
The mission of the SM Dads' Club is to establish a fraternal organization for the dads of Santa Margarita Catholic High School students. The Dads' Club will promote camaraderie amongst SM dads, create a stronger bond between fathers and their children, and share the gift that is "the SM experience." The Dads' Club is open to all SM dads, father figures and mentors to SM students.
The club goals include:
Provide a means for the fathers of SM to get to know each other socially.
Create a stronger bond between dads and their children.
Support SM events with fathers' input, volunteerism and philanthropy.
Host father-specific events to help create lasting relationships and networking.
Connect dads to Santa Margarita, creating a stronger bond between dads and the school.
PLEASE join us and be part of the formation of our club. We are excited to promote and support various camaraderie events both on and off-campus. These events can include:
Social Gatherings
Community Service Events/Outreach
Spiritual/Faith Formation Events
Athletic Outings
BBQ's for Athletic Teams
Assist with SM-sponsored events
Support the arts
Parent education
Crab Feeds
Happy hours
Fantasy Football
Card Tournaments
Dads Golf Group
Fishing Trips
Corn Hole Tournaments
Your ideas, expertise and involvement are needed to make our group thrive!
If you are interested, please attend the SM Dads' Club organizational meeting on Wednesday, October 27 at 7:15 p.m. The meeting will be held on campus in the Science Lecture Hall faculty/staff patio off the Strader Grotto. (Signs will direct your way). We kindly ask you to RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
