The Class of 2026 Commencement Ceremony will be held Thursday, May 28 at 10:00 am inside Honda Center in Anaheim.

Each graduate in good standing will receive four (4) graduation tickets during ticket distribution on Monday, May 4, 2026. These four tickets are already included in the graduation fee. The graduate does not need a graduation ticket. 

Additional tickets will be available for purchase Monday, January 12 at 9:00 am through Tuesday, April 14 at 3:00 pm. All tickets, both provided and purchased, will be available for pickup during Graduation Ticket Distribution on Monday, May 4, 2026. Tickets will not be released to anyone other than the SMCHS senior intended to receive the tickets and cannot be picked up before the designated date/time.

Graduation ticket distribution will be Monday, May 4, 2026 at the end of the school day on the patio of the Caritas Christi Center. 

Tickets cannot be picked up before this date/time and will not be released to anyone other than the SMCHS senior intended to receive the tickets.

You will receive an email from activities@smhs.org during the school year to confirm your student's name for the diploma and program.  Questions, please email activities@smhs.org

No, all tickets purchased and provided are General Admission tickets.  Families and friends will be able to sit in the section of their choosing.

Per Honda Center ticket policy, Children, two years of age and older, must have a ticket for admittance.

Cap and gown sizes will be collected by Jostens representatives for the Class of 2026 at Returning Student Orientation.  If you missed Returning Student Orientation, please look out for communication from the Activities department to collect your cap and gown size. Caps, gowns and tassels are included in the price of the graduation fee for SMCHS students. 
 

Graduating seniors will receive their cap and gown at Graduation Practice on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. 

The graduation ceremony will run 90-120 minutes.

Dress Code:  

• Gentlemen should wear their cap and gown and dress shoes, dress slacks, dress shirt and a tie.
• Ladies should wear their cap and gown and nice dressy outfits.
• Corsages, leis or boutonniere may not be worn during the graduation ceremony
• All students wear the medallion they received at the Baccalaureate Mass. NHS, CSF, IB students may also wear their hoods and cords.  Only cords distributed by SMCHS may be worn during the graduation ceremony. 
• Decorated graduation caps are not permitted.

Graduation photos will be available for purchase through South Coast Photographic. You may refer to the flyer your student received with their graduation tickets or contact the studio at (949) 699-0199.
