Senior Pilgrimage

Santa Margarita Catholic High School is hosting our annual Senior Pilgrimage on April 6th. The SMCHS class of 2023 will make the walk from our campus to the Mission San Juan Capistrano. This walk is symbolic of the journey these seniors have made over the past four years at Santa Margarita, and is deeply rooted in our school’s rich Catholic faith. The senior pilgrimage is a tradition that kicks off the series of events and activities for seniors leading up to graduation.

The 13mile pilgrimage began in 2000 and is intentionally placed on Holy Thursday. Throughout the walk, students are asked to reflect on various elements of their high school experience, and personal faith journey. They are also encouraged to offer up their pilgrimage for a loved one(s) who may need healing or are no longer with us.

Class of 2023 parents are welcome to volunteer for this special event. Spots are available in the early morning, throughout the pilgrimage at stations along the route, and at the Mission where the Pilgrimage will conclude. Please see this Sign Up Genius to claim your spot(s).
